This is a band I came across randomly through spotify when I was getting into Poe. And its really cool. I really like their music, I wish they hadn't broken up (if I had a nickel for every time a musician/artist I like stopped because of industry/music label bullshit, I'd have 2 nickels...). They released 3* albumns in their time, Stars and Garters, Halfworld and Redshift. They were supposed to release another albumn, Blueshift, but because of aforementioned music label chicanery the albumn never released. Thankfully, one of the band members, Adam von Buhler, uploaded the albumn in high quality for anyone to download! (find it here)

Picking favorites is tough, as the music I listen to is heavily dependent on vibes, and the diverse nature of their music means that sometimes I prefer one song over another. I feel like pointing out Mayan Pilot, from Blueshift, which has the most incredible, funky bass line I've heard. Adam is a great bassist and guitarist. Ironspy is a song that, when I was first getting into Splashdown, I wasn't certain on. At some point I gave it a proper listen and god damn is it up my alley.
